Data controller: RankMellow, contact support@rankmellow.com.
What we process. The details you submit with your trial request: name, email address, site URL, whether you have Search Console connected, an optional message, and the date and time of consent. Technical request data such as IP address and user agent is stored only as a salted hash, to prevent abuse and duplicate requests. If the trial is activated, we process data from your site read through the Google Search Console API (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, position), public page content, and the results of the analyses we produce. We also process service data and technical logs. We do not process special categories of data and we do not ask for data we do not need.
Why we process it. To handle your trial request and reply to you, to provide the service if the trial is activated, to prevent abuse and unauthorised access, and to send you service messages about the trial.
Legal basis. Processing is based on pre-contractual requests and measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), on our legitimate interest in service security (Art. 6(1)(f)), and, where required, on consent for optional communications (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Recipients. Data may be processed by providers acting as processors or independent controllers: Google for OAuth access and the Search Console API; OVHcloud for application and website hosting and for the mailbox; OpenAI for text analysis through a language model; DataForSEO for search data; and email delivery providers for service messages.
Transfers outside the European Union. Some providers, including Google and OpenAI, may process data in the United States. Transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or another instrument under Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.
How long we keep it. Rejected requests are kept for 90 days, approved requests for 24 months, and pending requests for 180 days. Site data is kept for the duration of the trial and the following 30 days. Technical logs are kept for 30 days.
Your rights. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability by writing to support@rankmellow.com. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
